extended family

rina is the daughter of my very close friends, harry and shirley who are like extended family to me in hong kong. she was in paris for the weekend so we met up for coffee and then again so that she could meet stellan (whose in the process of nicking her cell phone case)

am feeling very old as she has just graduated from grad school and i remember when her parents were just getting her settled in the uk for her first degree!! how can her younger siblings be in highschool already and preparing to go off to uni next year or growing facial hair???? somehow, they'll always be under the age of 6 in my mind.
